Cody had no idea where she was, or exactly how she'd gotten here. She had been home alone, enjoying the opportunity for some quiet time and a rare evening wasted away in front of the t.v. There had been a noise from the kitchen, and thinking that Bryn had returned from hanging out with some friends, she'd gone to greet him...and then she'd woken up here. In this place...this cell. A madhouse cell. If sheer fear were reason enough to land a person in such a place, then Cody would have had to admit that she belonged in a padded room at that particular moment. But it would have been crazy not to be terrified under such circumstances. And, by that metric, even the plucky young catgirl was proving herself quite sane.
She squirmed once more against the bindings which enmeshed her, feeling a fresh gush of adrenaline dump freezing-hot into her veins at their sheer, monolithic implacability. Cody had found herself in some truly tight spots before...but few, if any, she could recall came anywhere near leaving her this helpless. "Helpless"... A word she rarely ever truly applied to herself, the courageous catfolk lass believing in her heart-of-hearts that there was always a way out, if one kept their wits about them, held onto hope, and never gave up. But, she was a realist as well, and even her depths of spirit were not boundless. These bonds - this straitjacket, hugging her like the arms of some grim lover...the straps about her legs, so tight that she could scarcely wiggle her tingling toes, it seemed...the cruel, near-smothering muzzle, like something one would put on an animal, sealing away voice and easy breath... - taxed those depths of grit to their very limits. The catgirl wriggled fearfully in their grasp for a few more moments, then fell still and slumped back again, the almost gentle softness of the wall at her back and the floor beneath her striking an insidious counter-point to the stiff inescapability of her bonds. Tears stung at her eyes as a soft, muffled whimper crawled from behind the stifling panel of the gag-muzzle. Promising - swearing! - in her heart that she wasn't going to give up...that she would escape this. Somehow.
And then, there came a clunk-ing sound from the single door in the nightmare chamber. Cody's heart leapt into her throat at the sudden, unexpected intrusion into her desperate solitude, her face snapping over and looking up, unable to keep the fear from creeping back onto her face. "Nmmmph......" she muffled anxiously, as the padded portal slowly began to swing inward...
it seems she may have been kidnapped by relatively friendly badguys this time around. they definantly took the time to get a straitjacket and padded cell.
